Dear Maplers, It has been almost a year since players had a chance to start anew in an entirely fresh environment. A brand new start means a whole new beginning and friends once more so lets rejoice at the launch of a fifth new world in MapleSEA on the 4th June 2008! Hold your breath as exciting events unfold in Eridanus! It’s three cheers for the cool experience and drops with 2x Exp and 2x Drop rate for 2 weeks! 2X EXP Event Friday to Sunday: 1400hrs - 1600hrs (+8 GMT) 1900hrs - 2100hrs (+8 GMT) 2X Drop Rate Event Monday to Thursday : 1400hrs - 1600hrs (+8 GMT) 1900hrs - 2100hrs (+8 GMT) In Addition to the awesome Exp and Drops happening all around Eridanus! Be awed again by limited edition Bandanas once more! In-depth details coming your way soon! FAQs What is Eridanus? Eridanus is a brand new world starting with 10 new channels in MapleSEA.Eridanus is equivalent to Aquila, Bootes, Cassiopeia and Delphinus in every aspect, having the same maps, same NPCs and same quests. This new world provides more room for adventure in MapleSEA. Why should I go to Eridanus? Exciting adventures await all brave travelers to Eridanus! You no longer need to feel intimidated by advanced players in other worlds as everyone gets a fair chance to start anew in Eridanus. How do I go to Eridanus? Will my character be reset? If you are an existing player, your current character(s) will remain as they are, in Aquila, Bootes, Cassiopeia and Delphinus. You may use your existing Maple account to visit Eridanus. A new registration is not needed unless you are new to MapleStory. Simply select Eridanus when you are in the "World Selection" screen. When you first log in, there are no characters in this world. Not to worry as your existing characters are still safe in Aquila, Bootes, Cassiopeia and Delphinus. In Eridanus, you will have to start with new character(s), which means with 1 MapleStory account, you can now create 12 characters (3 in each world). Can I train my existing characters in Eridanus? Existing character(s) in Aquila, Bootes, Cassiopeia and Delphinus are not transferable to Eridanus. You will need to start a new character in Eridanus. So if the traffic is too heavy for you in Aquila, Bootes, Cassiopeia and Delphinus, you may find it easier to train your new character in Eridanus! Likewise, Eridanus character will not be able to move to Aquila, Bootes, Cassiopeia or Delphinus worlds. Can my IGNs in Aquila, Bootes, Cassiopeia and Delphinus be used in Eridanus? Your IGNs in Aquila, Bootes, Cassiopeia and Delphinus are protected. Therefore, they will not be usable in Eridanus. - MapleSEA Event Administrator

Below are the details of happenings in the 0.56 version update:

MapleSEA's 3rd Anniversary Party Events (14th May 2008 ~ 2nd July 2008)
1.	Maple Item Drops The ever sort after 1st Anniversary and 2nd Anniversary Maple Items are back once more just for YOU!
2.	Collect the Maple items and Maple leaf! Be sure to get yourself a new set of tantalizing 3rd Anniversary Items and Scrolls at the Maple Administrator.
3.	Maple Hat: Administrator, Level 5 and above Always wanted a Maple Hat? Now you can attain and further upgrade it by speaking with a Maple Administrator.
4.	Maple Earring Quest: Olaf, Level 10 and above Tired of your everyday earrings? Wait no further! Complete the quest given by Olaf of Lith Harbor and get a sweet pair of Maple Leaf Earrings now!
5.	Fortune Telling Quest: Cassandra Visit Cassandra and have your fortunes told!
6.	Aramia's Fireworks: Aramia, all classes Missed the fun? Share the joy with your loved ones now! Collect the power kegs and bring them to Aramia to set off the fireworks. Witness the beautiful sight together and indulge yourself once again!
7.	Level Up Event, level 2 and above Boring leveling? Cheer up! Now, with every level gained you will unlock an event. So look forward to leveling!
8.	Everyday Event: Cassandra Speak to Cassandra to activate a different quest everyday. Monday: Quest bonus of Extra 40% EXP will be given every time user complete a particular quest (up to 5 quests for the day) Eg. If the quest reward is 10k Exp, and if this is one of the first 5 quests you are attempting on the day, you will be rewarded with 14k Exp instead of 10k Exp. Tuesday: Exchange 40 Maple Leafs for 3rd Anniversary scrolls of your choice. Available at 1600, 1800, 2000, 2200, 2300hrs (+8 GMT). Only 10 scrolls available for each ch.(Originally 3rd Anniversary scroll can be exchanged with 1000 Maple Leafs) Wednesday: 2X Drop rate From 00 to 30 min during 1500~2100 hrs (Eg. 1500~1530, 1600~1630 hrs) Thursday: 3rd Anniversary scrolls, same as Tuesday Friday: Mob hunting - Extra EXP will be given when hunting designated mobs. Saturday: Quest bonus, same as Monday Sunday: 3rd Anniversary scrolls, same as Tuesday.
9.	Cassandra's Quiz Event: Cassandra Think you know MapleSEA well? Be rewarded with when you get the answers right!

Force Shielders noticed that Force Archer's Astral Bow can efficiently support long-range force control, so they studied how to precisely condense force around the Crystal so that the force would not disperse while attacking enemies, and created the Astral Shield as the result. The creation of the Astral Shield opened a new chapter in the history of Nevarethian armor. The Astral Shield has such high defense strength that it can serve offensive purposes as well. Warriors and Bladers, who desperately need a better way to fight and defend, have become Force Shielders. They seeked higher defense as well as establishing their own unique battle style. Thus, they started using the heaviest armor such as Warrior's Armor Suit while carrying the Astral Shield. Force Shielders specialize in short-range Force control, which means that they are incapable of doing long-ranged attacks. However, they make up for this weakness by developing supporting magic spells which increase their attack strength by manipulating outer Forces near their bodies. It's these methods which match those of the Wizard's strongest asset. This revolutionary invention has become a turning point in the Nevarethian battle style. Force Shielders must invest a lot of their effort in physical strength in order to be equipped with Armor Suit, the strongest yet heaviest armor, as well as an understanding of Force in order to skillfully control force. They also need to consider dexterity for decent hit rate since they can only use one-handed swords.
